Welcome to the beginners class. For the first class I would suggest you give it 50% effort and energy instead of throwing yourself in, full-on, 120% into the class your're participating in. This was suggested to me by a great yoga teacher; it's so true. Give yourself a chance to de-stiffen, build up flexibility and stamina - it will soon come.

For beginners coming to TripleMA for the first time, here is some information that you will need: Clothing - shorts & t-shirt are best, and bring a towel for after training. No trainers on the matt - it's safer and the matt feels nice underfoot. Try to arrive before the classes start - if only to warm up. Don't rely on friends coming with you - you'll do better on your own. Try and find where we are before you leave the house. Enjoy yourself.

As time goes on, you might need some or all of the following equipment to get the maximum out of the sessions we hold: hand wraps, gum shield, a groin guard, boxing gloves, bag gloves, MMA gloves, shin & foot protection, head guard, MMA shorts, MMA rash top, kickboxing trousers & t-shirt & insurance. We can supply all of this. We have many used gloves available - but I can assure you, you will prefer to own your own!
